Chiropractic Adjustments (for children and their parents)

Chiropractic is a safe, gentle and effective means of restoring the nervous system to optimal function.  When the spine is out of alignment, healthy cell metabolism, organ function and sharp mental focus are all jeopardized due to decreased nerve flow. Children in sensory overload benefit from chiropractic adjustments which rebalance the nervous system and reduce their fight or flight response.  Additionally, speech and social functions may be improved through chiropractic adjustments.  Only Chiropractors are specially trained to check your spine for subluxations, which can begin at birth and progress throughout life. Correcting subluxations greatly improves the body's ability to heal itself.

Available Services

Valtrex is an anti-viral medication related to acyclovir and has shown efficacy against many but not all strains herpes viruses, including HSV1, HSV2, and VZV (chickenpox), EBV,  HHV6, and possibly CMV.  Some children with autism harbor chronic viral infections that should be treated as they can further disregulate these children's overstressed immune systems.

We offer the following services:

Retained Primitive Reflex Integration

Primitive Reflexes are instinctual, involuntary and automatic reflexes that develop in the womb, and are present at childbirth and during infancy. Normally, these reflexes, which are necessary for the survival and early development of the infant, become integrated into the brainstem, allowing for complex mental and physical development.

When not properly integrated during the child's first year, these reflexes can interfere with proper maturation. Reintegration or these reflexes can be done by a trained practitioner.

Refer to the checklist below to find out if a consultation regarding Retained Primitive Reflex Integration is indicated.

We accept most major credit cards and insurance plans.
However, biomedical intervention for autism

is not customarily covered by insurance.

 Methylcobalamine (B12)

Methyl-B12 is being used all over the United States and in many other countries.  It is estimated to be active and effective to some degree in 80-90% of children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).  The only way to know if your child is one of the majority of  children who will benefit from methyl-B12 is to use it. This is one of several important biomedical interventions along with dietary restriction, nutrients, attaining gut health, detoxification, and immune enhancing strategies that are improving and even recovering more and more autistic children every day now.
